MetaDigest® Gall Plus includes the pancreatic enzyme lipase which begins the process of the breakdown of dietary fats; lecithin, an excellent emulsifier of fats; and beetroot and black radish which both may support a healthy liver and digestion. The formula also contains ox bile, pepsin, glycine, and B vitamins which all support the process.

Ox bile is chemically similar to our own bile so it may supplement the liver's production of bile. It also supports the emulsification of fats and may subsequently improve the absorption of dietary fats and therefore fat-soluble nutrients including vitamins A, D, E and K. The ox bile concentrate in Gall Plus is derived from BSE-free herds who have been reared free of antibiotics and hormones.

 

Most of the dietary fat you consume is in the form of triglycerides, which are composed of three fatty acids linked to glycerol. Dietary fats are large molecules which are poorly soluble in the watery environment of your digestive system.
