  • High Potency: 1000iu of vitamin D3 per serving, providing the optimal daily dosage to support overall health and well-being.
  • Immune Health: Vitamin D3 supports the normal function of the immune system, helping to maintain a healthy inflammation response.
  • Bones & Teeth: Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 work synergistically to maintain strong bones and teeth, supporting calcium absorption and utilisation.
  • Cardiovascular Support: Vitamin K2 (as MK-7) supports normal cardiovascular function by directing calcium to bones and away from arteries.
  • Preferred Forms: Vitamin D3, the body’s preferred form for absorption, and vitamin K2 in the MK-7 form, known for its long-lasting effectiveness.
  • Liquid Formula: Easy to take with flexible dosing, perfect for those who prefer not to take tablets or capsules.
  • Natural Orange Flavour: Enjoyable and tasty formula.
  • Over 330 Servings: A 30ml bottle provides more than 330 servings, offering great value and convenience.

Our Vitamin D3 with K2 Drops are designed for optimal health support, combining the synergistic benefits of these two key nutrients. Vitamin D3 supports the body’s immune system, aids in maintaining normal muscle function, and ensures the effective absorption of calcium for bone health. Meanwhile, vitamin K2 (as MK-7) complements this by ensuring that calcium is properly utilised in the body, supporting both cardiovascular and bone health.

We’ve carefully selected the preferred forms of both nutrients: vitamin D3, identical to the form your body produces when exposed to sunlight, and vitamin K2 as MK-7, which is known for its superior bioavailability and long-lasting effects. With a pleasant natural orange flavour and a liquid formula for easy dosing, this supplement is a hassle-free way to support your overall health, especially for those who find tablets or capsules challenging to swallow.

The UK government recommends that everyone over the age of 1 should be taking 10mcg (400iu) of vitamin D daily, especially during autumn and winter when we cannot generate enough of this vitamin through sunlight. An RDA is the minimum amount needed to meet basic nutritional needs, whereas our formula is based on the recommendations of the Endocrine Society for optimal health benefits. Vitamin D3 with K2 is suitable for children from age 1 at a dose of 1 drop per day.

Vitamin D3 plays an important role in bone health - without it, our bodies cannot absorb calcium which is critical for strong bones. It's also needed for muscle function, as well as healthy, balanced immune system function. Low vitamin D levels, which are common amongst the UK population, particularly during winter, may compromise our immune response and leave us at risk of infection. Because it helps to balance the immune system, it's important for those with over-active immune systems too.

Between October and March, everyone in the UK is at risk of low levels of vitamin D, as during those months we cannot generate enough vitamin D in the skin through sunlight, and it is very difficult to consume enough through food. Those aged over 65, those with limited exposure to sunshine, and people with darker skin types have a higher risk of vitamin D deficiency.

Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, working synergistically with vitamin D to ensure that calcium is not only absorbed but sent to our bones where we need it the most. Vitamin K is also needed for normal cardiovascular function. There are two forms of vitamin K, K1 and K2, and it is vitamin K2 that has demonstrated more beneficial effects on our bones, compared to K1.¹

Our vitamin D3 is derived from lanolin (sheeps wool). It is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.

Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency such as muscle aches and pains, frequent colds and flus, low immune function and bone weakness may improve once vitamin D levels are elevated into the normal range. The amount of time to rectify deficiencies will depend on the level of vitamin D deficiency which is why we always recommend regular vitamin D testing.

For moderate to severe deficiency this can take between 8 and 16 weeks.

Vitamin K2 plays a crucial role in supporting overall cardiovascular health and bone health. Specifically, it helps regulate calcium in the body, ensuring it is directed to the bones and teeth, contributing to their strength and density.

While vitamin K2 is generally considered safe for most individuals, those taking anticoagulant medications, like warfarin, should exercise caution. These medications work by inhibiting blood clotting, and vitamin K2's role in clotting regulation may interact with these drugs.

It's advisable for individuals on anticoagulants to consult their healthcare provider before incorporating vitamin K2 supplements into their routine.

Several factors can contribute to the depletion of vitamin K2 in the body. One significant factor is a diet low in vitamin K-rich foods, which include leafy greens, egg yolks, cheese, and fermented foods including natto. Certain medical conditions, such as gastrointestinal disorders which may impair nutrient absorption, can also lead to reduced vitamin K2 levels.

Additionally, the use of certain medications including antibiotics, may interfere with the gut bacteria responsible for synthesising vitamin K2, contributing to depletion.
